I am an IT student at Kennesaw State University, pursuing a degree in Information Technology while minoring in Software Engineering. During my journey through my studies, I became passionate about identity and access management, which is all about determining who has access to what and controlling such access.
I got my start as an IAM intern, and from that point on, I have been developing my own skills by configuring AD environments, tinkering with Microsoft Entra ID, going through onboarding/offboarding procedures just to get a grasp of what it all is about. I am a CompTIA Security+ certified individual and currently preparing for further certifications under my belt.
My target would be to get into a job position of IAM and/or Security Analyst initially, after which I can head on to Cloud IAM and get into a more senior role within the IAM and/or Security Architecture field.
Handled access requests, role assignments, and account updates during my IAM internship.
Set up my own AD lab to practice user provisioning, security groups, and Group Policy on my own.
Can write basic scripts for user and group management — working on getting more advanced with automation.
Helped users through MFA enrollment and troubleshot issues that got escalated from the help desk.
Logged and resolved incident and access request tickets so everything stayed traceable for audits.
DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy basics, picked up through coursework and lab work.
Used inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism to build a working POS app with JavaFX.
